The Whanau Show logo was designed and created by Alex Walker. The outer shape represents the shape of an 1930's Cathedral Mantle Radio (see insert). The lettering on the inside is a "W" and a "S" for Whanau Show. The lettering is touching each other which symbolises the bringing of whanau together. The colour Red and Black are traditional Maori colour's and the Green symbolises New Zealand's Clean Green image. |
